POP Rivets ALL Stainless Steel 3/16 (#6C) Countersunk Open End Blind Rivets. Stainless Steel Hat and Mandrel.3/16 (#6) Max 0.191 - Min 0.183. A rivet used in countersunk holes in which once set finish flush to the surface. These are used in tracks where the head will not protrude into sliding tracks or rollers. Both the hat and mandrel of the rivet are made of Aluminum.
A special treatment applied to the rivet insures the mandrel will be encased by the rivet during application. How to measure a Rivet: First, measure the diameter of the rivet itself with a dial caliper. Then, just like measuring a bolt, measure the underside of the rivet head to the end of the rivet head.Make sure that you do not measure to the end of the mandrel, you only want the length of the HAT and washer. The grip range of the rivet will be 1/8 shorter than the measured length. EXAMPLE: If the length of the hat is 1/2" the rivet is actually a 3/8" grip.
375, also known as a 4-6 rivet. Please refer to the diagram and charts below for grip ranges, grades, etc. Grip range is not the same as length, the rivet must expand or swell out on the backside in order to hold the rivet together. To go green and reduce our use of plastic all product quantities will be packaged in as few packages as possible.
